In early 1980s a young child disappears. The lack of police support pushes the concerned parents to take justice into their own hands and launch a desperate manhunt that is seen from the perspective of the local children.
The summer nights are warm and the youth hang out at the shopping mall. The girls live their lives to the fullest and dream of taking a gap year. Nina's brother Daniel is increasingly wary of the new resident in their home.
